About Us

The ALERT Training Centre is based at Portsmouth, close to the Queen Alexandra Hospital.  Part of the Deteriorating Hospital Patient Unit , the centre provides support for those running courses, handles materials production and sales and runs ALERT courses for Portsmouth Hospital Trust staff and external delegates.

We run regular ALERT courses open to external participants and also run a number of Train the Trainer courses for those wishing to teach ALERT in their institution.

We have also recently launched a new course for training Healthcare Support Workers in recognising patient deterioration entitled BEACH.
